Valley Lodge has comfortable rooms with excellent views of the surrounding countryside, a large lounge, 2 smaller lounges and several bathrooms all equipped with technological aids. Our superb kitchen will cater for all diets and provides delicious home cooked food, all served in our spacious dining room. We have daily social activities and several day trips throughout the year including a boat trip and visits to Carsington Reservoir. We also benefit from regular visits from a hairdresser, a chiropodist and an optician.
At Valley Lodge our policy is to assist and encourage our Residents to continue enjoying a meaningful and independent lifestyle. The home is staffed with Registered Nurses and Care Assistants trained to NVQ levels 2 and 3. Recently we have been awarded the status of Quality Premium Home by Derbyshire County Social Services, reiterating our commitment to providing quality care, delivered in a professional but friendly and personalised manner.
